On March 13, 2018, the 8th International Student Projects Contest of the scientific section “Educational and Rehabilitation Technologies” within the “Step for the Future – 2018” program was held at GUIMC. This competition was held together with the schoolchildren’s Olympics — the Twenty-First Scientific Conference of Young Researchers “Step into the future. Moscow 2018 “.
The work of the section began with a welcoming speech to the participants of the conference from the director of the GUIMC A. G. Stanevsky.
There were presented thirteen projects in various areas from different schools and universities such as:
- Multidisciplinary Lyceum №1501, Moscow;
- College №4 of Small Business, Moscow;
- Bauman University;
- Tsukuba University of Technology.

On March 16 the award ceremony took place. All the participants were given a diploma, valuable prizes from the faculty and traditional sponsor — group of companies “Istok Audio”.
The work of Vera Frolova — “Using a mixed encryption algorithm to ensure the safe storage of information in databases” was named the best of the Competition.
