On March 7-10 GUIMC students and staff left for Baumanets Camp. The Camp is located in Moscow region and is typically a venue for the various BMSTU students’ activities. It was the first time for GUIMC to arrange that kind of event though. It was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Center as well as to the visit of Chinese delegation from Tianjin University of Technology (TJUT).
The program was rich and diverse: students took part in different sport competitions, intellectual quiz and Russian language knowledge contest; completed the rope course, solved the quest on the Camp premises, and celebrated International Women’s Day with the concert.
The Final of the International Contest “Step into the Future” also took place during this leave. GUIMC and TJUT students presented their research projects as well as did the students of Beijing United University, via video link.
The leave showed that such events erase borders and remove all the barriers—no health restrictions can prevent you from having a good time in a friendly student company, overcoming difficulties and making a profit out of it.
