On August 31, a meeting of freshmen entered the GUIMC this summer took place. At the meeting the newly-made students were told the basic rules of safe and successful behavior at the university and were introduced to the GUMIC staff. Director A.G. Stanevsky wished freshmen joy and handed them the main document of any student - brand new student tickets.
The celebration continued on the square of the Slobodsky Palace of the Bauman University, where all the guests were congratulated by the Rector of the BMSTU A.A. Alexandrov, general directors and designers of the country's leading defense enterprises, cosmonauts and outstanding graduates of our University. A special appeal to the BMSTU freshmen was prepared by the crew of the International Space Station. After the solemn part the newly-minted students were awaited by a concert program and delicious buckwheat porridge. It was eaten as a ritual of dedication to schoolmates, to a friendly Bauman’s family.
